V International Fishery Congress, Vladivostok, Russia (7-9 September 2010) (20 July 2010)

Delegations from 11 countries have already confirmed their participation in the V International Fishery Congress, which will be held in Vladivostok on September 7-9, 2010: Great Britain, Germany, People's Republic of China, Norway, New Zealand, Republic of Chile, Republic of Korea, USA, Ukraine, India and Japan. Organizers have also sent invitations to the representatives of Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and USA National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

Russian participants from Magadan, Murmansk, Sakhalin, Primorye, Kamchatka, Khabarovsk, Chukotka, Moscow, Ryazan, and St. Petersburg will come to the Congress.

According to the Congress Organizing Committee, Congress preparations are actively performed. Organizing Committee selects participants, sends invitation letters, prepares Congress program.

Congress theme is Russia's Fishing Industry - Transition to Leadership and Innovative Economy. The Congress will include opening ceremony, Plenary Session, presentations (Shipbuilding, Investment projects), round table discussions.

International Fishery Exhibition "Pacific Future Fishery-2010" will be held as a part of the Congress.
