1st International Forum - Energy Efficiency in Russia, Moscow, Russia (June 22-24, 2010) (31 May 2010)

Russia's President Medvedev has affirmed that energy efficiency and energy conservation are among the 5 strategic priorities for Russia's technological development. In November 2009 the Russian Duma passed the Law "On energy conservation and increasing energy efficiency..." In 2010 a Coordination Council for Energy Efficiency & Energy Conservation within the all-Russia party "United Russia" was created and began to operate.

All of these measures are clear indicators that there is a great need to discuss how to improve energy efficiency in Russia, and to exchange practical experience and know-how already gathered in this field. Adam Smith Forum on Energy Efficiency in Russia will provide an ideal platform for such crucial and productive information exchange!
