The Company is engaged in cargo transportation since 1929. It started as a road transport shop of the Ural Heavy Engineering Works named after Sergo Ordzhonikidze (UZTM). In the 1950-70-ties the Company formed a part of the big association rendering transport services to the leading industrial companies of the Ural.

At present the Company employs approximately 400 people including more than 270 drivers.
The Company's lorry fleet includes 250 road trains consisting of Volvo trucks and Schmitz semi-trailers. Average age of the fleet is 2 years. All vehicles comply with the up-to-date ecological standards, are equipped with GPS-navigation devices, mobile communication. Technical maintenance is performed by service companies certified by Volvo. The Company has excluded any production processes and /or services contaminating the environment and typical for traditional motor transport enterprises. In July the Company has successfully passed ecological audit performed by IKEA Concern.

Every day more than fifty new orders are taken and over 300 orders on inland and international freight are being processed. More than 500 companies are our clients. Among them one can name leading exporters of the Ural region, for example, VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation, Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company, Pervouralsky Novotrubny Works, Ural Electrochemical Integrated Works, Kamensk-Uralsky Metallurgical Works. The Company delivers cargo to such well-known international companies as IKEA, AUCHAN, ABB, Metro and Russian companies with federal brands as Concern Kalina, M. Video, etc.

Geography of our activities covers the whole Europe - from Spain to Poland and from Italy to Norway. We transport goods to many CIS countries as well. Final destinations of inland transportation performed by the Company are located in the most federal okrugs. We develop transportation in Asian and Trans-caucasian directions. We perform cargo consolidation at the warehouses of our European partners in Prague and Lubeck (Germany) and then deliver the cargo to Russia.

At present the Company's customer base is represented mainly by direct consignors. This fact confirms the status and good standing of the JSC "Lorry". In 2003 mostly small forwarding companies were the Company's clients. Today, for instance, international logistic operators "Schenker" (Germany), "LKW Walter" (Austria), "Gianesini" (Italy) are among our customers. Every year main clients of the Company increase the volume of their carriages through the JSC "Lorry". There are some enterprises implementing investment projects and the JSC "Lorry" transports technological equipment or the whole plants from Europe to them.

The Company guarantees delivery of trucks for loading within one week, for transportation on the territory of Russia - within 3 days from the date of the order and in case of emergency - at the same day at any point of Europe and Russian Federation. The Company concludes long-term freight contracts with its leading customers thus ensuring unconditional fulfillment of its obligations and allowing its clients to plan their budget efficiently.

The Carrier's liability is insured for the amount of USD 500,000.00 by the biggest Russian insurance company. If necessary, we can arrange additional insurance of the cargo or liability as agreed with the client.

The Company is one of a few members of the "Uralskiye Gazeli", this is the list of companies with the exceptionally high rates of development. Every year the Company spends millions Euro for the fleet renewal by means of different financial instruments. Among our partners are the well-known European and federal companies, such as Raiffeisen Bank, Banque Societe Generale Vostok, Savings Bank of the Russian Federation. The main suppliers of fuel are ESSO and Lukoil. About ten years the Company has close business relations with such European concerns as Volvo and Schmitz.

The Company JSC "Lorry" has been awarded a national public prize of the freight branch of Russia "Golden Chariot" in the nomination "Leader of International Trucking", the honorable tile "The Best International Trucking Company of the CIS in 2008" (IRU). The Company ranks among 15 best logistic operators of Russia.
